Greenwood Nursery: We want you to be 100% satisfied with everything you order from Greenwood Nursery, so we are giving you our personal three-part guarantee: 1. If any part of your order is incorrect or arrives damaged, let me know immediately and I will send out a replacement as quickly as possible at no additional cost to you. Any package that arrives damaged or taped up should be reported to us within 3 days of arrival. YOU MUST keep all boxing and plants/products until you hear back from the nursery. Failure to do this will void the guarantee. UPS has one week from date of claim to pick up damaged shipments.
2. If any plant fails to "leaf out" during its first planting season, we will gladly replace it. You pay only the actual boxing/UPS shipping charge. However, we must be notified by email or snailmail and receive pictures by July 15th. Otherwise, this claim cannot be honored.
3. If any plant or dies within a full twelve months from the date of purchase, you may request a replacement within those 12 months and pay only 50% of current member pricing, plus boxing/UPS charge which can vary according to weight and size of box. Pictures may be emailed or sent snailmail to us during that period.
PLEASE NOTE: Our guarantee is void when customer orders plants not listed for their growing zone or requests shipping outside our recommended shipping times. Plants that are purchased when on sale, close-outs, or from our Member’s Monthly Value Page are shipped healthy and ready for planting and cannot be replaced as such due to the extremely discounted prices. If the package arrives damaged due to UPS shipping, customer should contact us within 24 hours of receipt, keep boxing and we will file a UPS claim.
International shipments and APO & FPO addresses: Due to the additional expenses (Phytosanitary Certificate and Expedited services) in shipping packages internationally, it isn't something that we recommend as we cannot guarantee the plants to arrive in a timely manner and still viable. APO and FPO can only be sent through Parcel Post which can take up to 6 weeks to deliver and post offices will not insure plant packages. Because many of these packages are being sent overseas, they are subject to that country's customs requirements, in most all cases requiring a Phytosanitary Certificate. We cannot guarantee delivery to APO & FPO addresses. Once orders are mailed, Greenwood Nursery cannot be held responsible for any delayed, damaged, or destroyed packages.
It is our commitment to ship out the best possible plants, container and seedlings, to our customers. In working with living things, sometimes weather interferes and plants, sometimes entire crops, are damaged or killed. When this happens, we contact our customers to let them know the situation so that they may select another item or remove it from their order as to not hold up the remaining part of their order from shipping out on time. We ask for your understanding in times such as those.
My wife Cheryl and I personally supervise the selection, packing and shipping of ALL plants to ensure the utmost care and attention is devoted to the fulfillment of your order.
