Autumnalis Cherry Tree, Prunus subhirtella Autumnalis Rosebud or Winter Cherry, is a gorgeous deciduous tree with a lovely spreading habit and dark green leaves which turn yellow in autumn. As the name suggests, Autumnalis Cherry, the autumn flowering cherry blooms during an unusual season. The Cherry Autumnalis' blossoms start to open in autumn and the trees are in relative full bloom around January/February, making it a perfect tree for the winter garden. During mild spells in October through to March, the branches of the Autumnalis Cherry are smothered in dark pink blossoms. The Cherry Autumnalis makes a wonderful choice for the smaller garden and where space is limited.

Very hardy in Zones 5 to 8.
