Lamium Dead Nettle Evergreen Perennial Plants

Lamium maculatum 'Red Nancy' is an evergreen Ground Cover plant, commonly called Dead Nettle, is an evergreen ground cover. Lamium varieties offers leaves that are variegated silver green with dark green borders. In spring, the show begins with fuchsia pink to reddish flowers and then sporadic blooming continues to fall. Regular deadheading of the flowers will encourage even more blooms.

Dead Nettle is a flowering perennial plant that is easy to grow making it good for beginner gardeners.

Can be divided in summer and pruned in winter. While it will grow in partial shade to full shade, hot climates such as zone 8 and 9 may want to plant in full to mostly shade. Plants grow into the 6 to 8 inch height range with a spread of 12 to 24 inches wide.
