I can’t begin to tell you how many of our customers have asked about a fast growing shade tree. NOW AVAILABLE! The Princeton Elm, the finest shade tree on the market today. It has all the characteristics that made the American elm the most popular shade tree of all time.

This beautiful specimen tree grows a fast 3 to 6 feet per year. The tree in the picture is only 3 years old, 14 feet tall and 2” in caliper. The ‘Princeton’ American elm will eventually grow to 100 feet in height. It is the only American elm with more than 75 years of scientific proven tolerance to Dutch elm disease. It is easily transplanted and easy to grow in good to poor soil conditions.

The Princeton elm grows upright and arching, is cold hardy to the bitter cold of the northern plains to the sweltering heat of central Florida to central Texas and everywhere in between.
