Shipped BARE ROOT, as a 2 year plant, easy to transplant and easy to grow. SHIPS IN SPRING
NEW! LIMITED SUPPLY! Rosa Rugosa ‘Alba’ - Imagine a neighborhood from a bygone era when life seemed easy and sipping lemonade over the fence with neighbors was the common pastime of the day. We cannot go back in time, but we can recreate the fragrance and feelings of that imagined time long ago with our beautiful Classic White Hedge Rosa Rugosa. This hard to find, but easy to grow hedge rose displays luminous, whitest of white, extremely fragrant scented blossoms, which will grow in full sun as well as dappled shade. Rosa rugsoa 'Alba' flowers June to August with the seeds (rose hips) ripening August to October. Rosa Rugosa 'Alba' blooms white, nearly white or pink. Dark green healthy foliage that shows bright yellow/orange colors in fall. This White Rose hedge will grow symmetrical to six feet tall and six foot around. It is disease resistant and completely winter hardy to Zone 2. This variety is duplicated from a consistent flowering parent stock. Suitable for most any well drained soil. Space plants about 24 inches apart in a row to create a fast growing dense hedge. In warmer climates, such as zone 8, this plant may keep its leaves over mild winters.
