NEW! Hosta, Royal Standard was the first patented Hosta and was introduced in 1965. This verdant plant has deep green foliage and grows to 24 inches in height with a 30 inch spread. Perhaps its greatest quality is the highly fragerent funnel shaped white flowers that bloom from July through August.

This plant is hardy as well, growing from heavy sunlight to heavy shade and in a variety of soil conditions. Of course the best performance will be seen in early morning sun with afternoon shade where it will flourish.

Our Hosta selections are shipped in full quart containers, 1 to 5 eyes per plant. Please do not confuse our size offered with other nurseries that offer bare root or small 3 inch pots with one eye per plant. In fact our sizes compare to one gallon containers seen at some of the more reputable garden centers.
