Achillea Moonshine is still one of the most popular garden plants today, Achillea Moonshine is valuable in the landscape because it combines well with almost everything. Achillea Moonshine is a terrific foil for many other colors including purple, blue, and pink. Achillea Moonshine's flat-topped, canary yellow flower clusters and bright silver foliage light up the garden. This is a clump-forming yarrow selection that blooms over a long period beginning in early summer. Yarrow plants will rebloom if they are cut back after the first round of flowering.

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Yarrow is one of the easiest perennials to grow and is a good choice for beginners. All it needs is full sun and well-drained soil. It thrives in average to poor soil and is drought tolerant once established. Plants grown in rich soil tend to be tall and floppy. After the flowers have faded, cut the plant back by half. This will likely stimulate a second flush of blooms in late summer. Do not let plants go to seed. Most varieties do not come true from seed. Divide every few years to keep plants to a manageable size.

Skip a step with Step Ups!

Introducing, exclusively for Greenwood Nursery Club members and customers,
our NEW STEP-UPS ™ Perennial Plant collection.

What are Step-Ups ™? - Our perennials are cultivated and grown with an accelerated system. They are started in small containers, transplanted to quart containers, and then transplanted again to one gallon trade size containers. This expands the root system, making our plants perform like a two year perennial the very first year. Step-ups ™ perform the first year you plant them.

You're a step ahead with Step Ups!
