NEW! Juniper Sky Rocket This thin columnar Juniper fits into very difficult places such as narrow side yards between homes. Probably the most narrow columnar juniper available. It is a great windbreak plant for both cold and hot climates.

Skyrockets short, compact, silvery blue foliage is evergreen with virtually no change from season to season. It's a very striking, dramatic plant when used as a cluster planting against a large fence or building or in formal plantings. It is similar to other Junipers in that it requires a full sun exposure and will tolerate dry and arid soils.

Try planting in matched pairs or on four corners of a central courtyard. Durable and versatile, best grouped to form a colorful screen or garden accent.

Its natural habitat is dry and windy with full sun exposure. It looks best in an open site with no shade during the day. This allows the foliage to dry quickly in the morning and helps prevent foliage disease from thinning the canopy. A well-drained soil is essential for good growth. Wet soil rots the roots and causes plant decline.

Care Instructions:

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Watering can be reduced after establishment.

Shipped in ONE GALLON containers, Purchase in multiples for best value.

Available early March 2008. Book Early while supplies last.

The evergreen plants will arrive healthy and ready for planting. Should they die within the first year we will replace at one half the current member price plus shipping.

Once planted with moderate care, just watering every five days or so and not fertilizing for the first year, the plants generally do well. The evergreens are a low maintenance, easy to grow; almost no care needed plant to own.
