Basket Bolgatanga are very finely woven baskets handcrafted by artisans in the Northern Region of Ghana, West Africa. While farming supplies the majority of the income in the region, basket weaving provides supplemental income during the dry season. Many of the weavers are women and the extra income helps provide daily necessities for their families.

The Basket Bolgatanga shown is large and sizes will run approximately 15 X 9 X 9 inches.
