Sedum Angelina PPAF #8217  - Angelina Stonecrop - You'll want this perennial!. Another Proven Winner selection that is sure to perform in your garden. The Sedum Angelina is a great new golden sedum ground-cover with bright yellow spiky-leaved shoots that spread evenly and often develop ginger tips, creating delightful honeyed patterns. This yellow sedum is stunning planted around annuals or perennials with dark-colored foliage and grows best in drier soil. You can also use it in hanging baskets and patio containers.

Sedum Angelina is evergreen ground cover plant in warmer areas and in cooler climates it turns a rich orange in the fall. This sedum groundcover sports tiny yellow flowers. You want to plant this perennial in full sun with well-drained soil. Suggestion: plant with spring bulbs or to mask a difficult area.

Sedum's prefer well-drained soil with a pH close to neutral (7.0) and can thrive with only a modest level of nutrients. The Angelina Stonecrop is a fascinating and colorful groundcover that is invaluable for rock gardens; a few can be used to advantage in the perennial border. Sedum Angelina is virtually a maintenance free sedum. Space this sedum 6-8 inches apart for good coverage. Grows to 6 inches tall, bloom time July - September, Zone 5-8.
