Black Eyed Susan, Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' is one of the most requested mid summer to fall bloomers. Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm', commonly known as Black Eyed Susans, are true perennials, returning larger each year. Black Eyed Susans are great for mass plantings and provide wonderful contrasting colors when paired with ornamental grasses, Shasta daisies, Russian sage or dianthus. Black Eyed Susan should be deadheaded regularly for continued blooms.

Black Eyed Susan plants are a native wildflower plant (North America) as well as being deer resisitant and rabbit resistant yet attracts butterflies. Space Black Eyed Susan's approximately 18 inches apart in full sun to partially shaded areas. Their gold to orange petal colors provide striking color in gardens from mid summer to mid fall. Divide these plants in spring for replanting.

Greenwood offers the Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' Black Eyed Susan's as heavily rooted plants grown in gallon containers (trade gallon). They are the perfect addition for both new and established gardens. Because they offer long-term impact for the landscape, they qualify as one of our choices as an investment landscape plant.
