Sedum rupestre Lemon Ball | Yellow Succulent

The Lemon Ball shines in the garden with its neon yellow foliage. This bright yellow green succulent attracts butterflies in summer with the tiny star shaped yellow clustered flowers. A ground cover hugging sedum, the Lemon Ball brightens up areas like rock gardens, containers, lawn edgings, and ground cover for full sun spaces. 

Plant this creeping ground cover sedum in full sun where there is well draining to dry soil. Mostly ground hugging but can reach up to 8 inches high and spreads approximately 16 to 24 inches wide. Easy to grow perennial plant. Drought tolerant once established. Will grow in part sun, but will be less aggressive. 

Striking companion plants for the Lemon Ball Sedum are deep shade heucheras such as the Fire Alarm, Salvia May Night, and Elijah Blue Fescue. 

The Lemon Ball Sedum is basically identical to the Lemon Coral of the Proven Winners.
