Zones 7 to 10 can plant this self-pollinating fig direct in the ground. Our Tissue Culture plants (see below) are already in growth mode and ready to kick off producing new growth for you. Plants are often smaller than traditionally grown plants in same size pot. However, tissue culture plants are not coming out of dormancy, but in rapid growth mode.
Plant in part to full sun for dark fruit that has wonderful sweet flavors.
This hybrid dwarf fig can grow in large containers in your garden or patio setting.

Our Beer's Black fig plants are currently growing in 3.5 inch pots and Quart pots. Height will vary according to the time of year shipped. Plants are generally upsized into 3.5 inch pots in late winter so by May are generally in the 5 to 9 inch height range. By mid summer growth has kicked into full speed ahead with some plants getting upsized into quart pots.
Plant cannot ship into California, Alaska, Arizona or Puerto Rico.
