'Pink Cascade II" Buddleia davidii - Pink Weeping Butterfly Bush

Commonly called Summer Lilac and Butterfly Bush, the Pink Cascade is certainly not a common buddleia. Just slightly small growing than the Grand Cascade, this weeping buddleia reaches 4 feet tall and 4 feet wide. The foot long apple-blossom pink panicles cascade down the plant creating a beautiful weeping effect.

The honey scented blossoms attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden. Just as the heat is the norm in mid to late summer, these blooms are just beginning and continue on into fall.

Fertilizer is not needed for this strong bloomer.

Heat tolerant.

Reaches 4 feet tall.

Plant in full sun.

Prefers fertile, moist well-drained soil.

Excellent as a backdrop to smaller growing perennials.

Use as a summer season privacy barrier for patios.

Fast growing perennial shrub.

Cut back to about a foot high in early spring. 

Begins to grow in mid to late spring.
