Winecraft Black® Cotinus coggygria Smokebush 

You'll enjoy the color contrast mixing in the Winecraft Black® Smokebush with other shrubs in your landscape. The almost black foliage is striking near light pink and white flowering shrubs. 

Round purple leaves open in spring that deepen to near black during the heat of summer brightening to shades of oranges and reds just in time for fall. Soft panicles blooms appear in early summer become the smokey mist (actually the seed pods) that sets this shrub apart.

This cotinus coggygria has a dwarf growing habit maturing in the 4 to 6 foot height range and up to 6 foot spread, which is smaller than the typical smoketree bush. 

Easy to grow.

No pruning needed.

Great for low hedge.
