Merritt Supreme macrophylla Hydrangea | Big Leaf Mophead Hydrangea

Beautiful rose to carmine red flowers appear in midsummer to early fall are set against dark green foliage with serrated sedges. The Merrit Supreme mophead Hydrangea reaches the 4 to 5 foot tall range making it a more compact mophead variety. The large (6 to 8 inches) blooms begin in mid summer and continue to early fall.

Planting Care for Merritt's Supreme Hydrangea: Plant this strong growing mophead hydrangea in rich organic soil with an alkaline pH for large rich rosey pink flowers in the 6 to 8 inch range. Water 1 to 3 times weekly during the warmer days of summer as needed. As with other hydrangeas, they may be toxic to pets such as dogs, cats, and horses.
