What do you need for a songbird garden?

• 1+ fruit producing tree - like white dogwood
• 1-2 evergreen trees for protection - cypress or thujas
• 4+ fruiting shrubs - viburnum, spicebush, caragana, serviceberry
• 1+ ornamental grasses - grasses

In an area 15 to 20 feet wide and at least 20 feet deep, you can grow a wildlife habitat that will be welcoming to not only songbirds, but other migrating birds, too.
