Muscadine Black Beauty is a black female muscadine, Vitis rotundifolia, variety displaying large fruit with a high sugar content (23%), skin is edible, and ripens uniformly with large grape clusters. The Black Beauty Grape is a very vigorous vine, highly productive, and disease resistant.
One of the best black muscadine varieties. The Black Beauty Muscadine ripens mid to late season. Patent #7592. Once you taste this delicious southern fruit it will cast a wonderful spell on you! There is no other fruit like the muscadine.
Female muscadine vines must be planted within 50 feet of a self-fertile Muscadine in order to bear fruit. One self-fertile Muscadine will pollinate up to 3 females vines.
