Old Fashioned Snowball Viburnum Flowering Shrubs, viburnum Opulus roseum is the old fashioned snowball shrub that we remember from our grandparents gardens that would be covered from top to bottom with masses of pure white ball shaped blooms in late spring.
The bright green foliage of the Old Fashioned Snowball turns to purplish red before dropping in the fall. A densely branched flowering shrub, this Viburnum is an excellent choice for a flowering privacy hedge.
Plant in full sun with average soil and water. The Old Fashioned Snowball Shrub grows 8 to 10 feet tall, but can be pruned for small yards. Cold hardy to USDA zone 3.
