Reblooming Blueberry Sweetheart Bush

Finally re-blooming blueberry bushes! The Sweetheart Blueberry Bushes are the only re-fruiting blueberry shrub available. No pollinator needed to produce large, juicy sweet blueberries...up to 15 pounds of blueberries per year from a mature shrub. The first crop of the Sweetheart Blueberry vaccinum is ready in late spring to early summer with the second crop ready for picking in late summer around August. 

The Sweetheart Blueberry Bushes are Northern Highbush that will thrive in the heat of the South. Best planted in full sun in cool northern climates (zones 4 to 5) with afternoon to part shade in warmer southern areas of zone 8. The Sweetheart Blueberry Shrubs require 750 to 800 chill hours to flower and fruit. 

Maturing in the 5 to 6 foot height range with a spread of 3 to 4 feet wide, the Sweetheart Blueberry fruiting shrubs make excellent hedges. Developed at Duke University by Dr. Mark Ehlenfeldt.
