Ann Magnolia Small Flowering Tree
Our second small growing tree in the Little Girl Magnolia Series, the Ann Magnolia matures in the 8 to 10 foot height and width range. Purple-red flowers begin to open in the mid April to May part of spring. These fragrant flowers sometimes randomly repeat blooming around mid summer.
Foliage of the Magnolia Ann turns yellow in fall. Prune after flowering to remove damaged branches.
Beautiful specimen flowering shrub for home landscapes, flowering hedges, and near woodland gardens.
The Little Girl Magnolia Series are hybrid magnolias that are a cross between the M. liliiflora 'Nigra' and M. stellata 'Rosea'. The Jane Magnolia is also part of this series and an excellent mate for the Ann.
